- By the end of this Schoolyear, I will build a network including at least one venue contact, marketing partner, light & sound technician, at least 5 DJ's, and a potential sponsor. Achieving this goal would severely help me in my career, since I want to start hosting my own events this summer
- Before September, I will learn the basics of Light & Sound Design by helping out with at least 10 stage builds, and creating a light show design. I have always been interested in the technicalities behind Light & Sound design, so obtaining these skills is very valuable if I ever want to further my interest into a job.
- DJ'ing at an event before the end of the summer (August 31st). Making music is still my biggest passion, so I will never give up my dream to do this professionally. DJ'ing at an event would help me broaden my network and would be a start of building a fanbase/ community :)
- Producing, mastering and releasing a track before the end of the year (December 31st). This goal also fits in the reasoning behind my previous goal, releasing my own music could give me a lot more recognition than just DJ'ing at gigs.
- Finding 3 companies/ organizations suitable for my internship by April, these companies have to fulfill my interest in either Stagedesign, Lights & Sound design or Production management. Achieving this goal means I have to network and build connections within the industry, which is always valuable. But most importantly, achieving this goal would set me up for a great foundation when choosing my internship, which will be a big step in my career.
- Host a summer party, the goal for this party is to have at least 150 people dancing, and having a great time. This is the goal I am most excited about achieving, I love the community within my hometown, but I hate to say that the event industry in my area is very lacking. There is almost nothing to do for likeminded people that love music events. I would love to give the community a party for everyone to enjoy, while also building a community for me to spread my own name and music, while also building a larger network within the area.
